SPRINGFIELD - Earlier this week, State Representative Jed Davis (R-Yorkville), was assigned to the House Judiciary - Civil Committee.

"I am honored to be appointed to the Judiciary - Civil Committee," said Rep. Davis. "I look forward to working with other Representatives to bring a common-sense, bipartisan approach to civil law in Illinois."

Rep. Davis is currently a foster and adoptive parent, which is an experience he will use to inform his critical decisions on this committee. He also plans to utilize his work as an advocate for children as an asset to pass sound legislation for vulnerable communities.

Rep. Davis also sits on five other committees: Cities & Villages, Economic Opportunity & Equity, Mental Health & Addiction, Small Business, Tech Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, and Transportation: Regulations, Roads & Bridges.
