Troy Chamber President’s Cat & Feline Fund Chief MEOWketing Officer, Jazz wins “Hour Detroit’s Petfest” for Cutest Pet in Metro Detroit

After nearly two months filled with tons of submissions and thousands of votes, Hour Detroit Magazine's hunt for the state's cutest pet in Metro Detroit came to a close with a local cat named Jazz winning the contest by a landslide.

Jazz is a 7-year-old Devon Rex cat owned by Troy Chamber President and CEO, Tara Tomcsik-Husak and husband Michael Husak.

In addition, Jazz is the Chief MEOWketing Officer for Feline Fund (www.felinefund.org), a new nonprofit dedicated to helping local cat rescue organizations fund the business and medical needs to keep foster cats healthy, ready to be adopted, and help them find their FURRever homes.

"Obviously, I am a proud cat mom, but I am even more excited that Jazz is going to use this platform to help fund business and veterinary needs for rescue cats. He has already raised enough money for 30 rescue cats to get spayed/neutered and be one step closer to finding the forever families," said Tomcsik-Husak, "While it is always great to say that we have the "CUTEST PET" in Metro Detroit… It's even better to say our cat is making a difference."

Jazz will be featured in a two-page spread in the October edition of Hour Magazine and will be on their website for an entire year until the 2022 winner is announced.
