FORT MYERS, FL (Apr. 15, 2019) - This summer, contractors for the City of Fort Myers will begin building a new East Treeline Water Storage Tank and Pump Station facility to maintain water pressure during periods of peak demand and better serve the growing community in the Treeline Avenue area. The new tank and pumping facility will be located at 12019 Treeline Avenue, on the east side of Treeline Avenue near Silver Ridge Boulevard.
The facility will include a 2.5 million-gallon above-ground storage tank, a building containing the pumps and electrical controls, and a stand-by generator enclosed by a sound-dampening wall. The public is invited to attend a preconstruction public information meeting to learn details about the project.
The meeting will be held in an 'open house' format (attend anytime) from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Treeline Elementary School, Multipurpose Room/Cafeteria, located at 10900 Treeline Avenue, Fort Myers, FL 33913. Project aerials and renderings will be on display for the public to view. City staff and the project team will be available for the public to speak with one-on-one.
