Mayor Andre Dickens Expands Midnight Basketball League to Second Location

WHAT:

Mayor Andre Dickens, the Atlanta Police Department and the Department of Parks and Recreation are expanding the Midnight Basketball League to a second location at Rosel Fann Recreation Center.

The Midnight Basketball League provides participants ages 18 to 24, the opportunity to engage in organized sports and explore a wide array of community wrap-around services aimed at improving their overall lives. The showcase event will feature special performances, giveaways, access to health services, employment, educational opportunities and more. Food and admission are free for spectators.

The official season begins Monday, July 11 at Rosel Fann Recreation Center. Games will also be played Wednesdays at C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center beginning July 13. The public is invited to attend.
