SPD seeks assistance in identifying robbery suspect

On 4-19-24 at 9:35pm, Spokane Police responded to the 3000 block of East 29th Avenue on a report of a robbery. Officers contacted store employees and were advised an unknown male entered the store and demanded money. The suspect had his hand in his pocket, holding something black, implying it was a gun. The actions of the suspect placed the employee in fear for his life. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect left the business. Patrol officers quickly responded to the area, but were not able to locate the male.

The suspect male is described as white and in his mid 40's. He had what appeared to be a pepper-colored goatee, black or dark blue beanie, gray button up shirt, dark unzipped jacket and dark shoes.

There is probable cause to arrest this man for 1st Degree Robbery. If you recognize him, please call Crime Check at 509 456-2233. Reference 2024-20073940
