EXIM's 2024 Annual Conference Will Highlight Small Business Topics

The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) will host its 2024 Annual Conference on June 6-7, 2024, in Washington, D.C.. to showcase the critical role EXIM plays in strengthening international trade.

The two-day, in-person conference will feature presentations and panel discussions with leaders in business, finance, government, policy, and media as well as networking opportunities - with several speakers and panels focused on small business topics. In addition, the event will highlight EXIM's 90th anniversary.

"We are eagerly counting down the days until this year's EXIM Annual Conference," said EXIM President and Chair Reta Jo Lewis. "This conference will feature industry and government leaders' perspectives on the ever-changing global landscape for exports. Moreover, this unique deal-making conference will provide key networking opportunities for U.S. businesses to consult with government officials and other industry experts that will enable them to grow their businesses abroad through exports."

Export Education for Small Businesses

The theme of this year's conference is "Honoring Legacy, Charting Tomorrow." Attendees will gain valuable information about the trade finance tools EXIM offers to strengthen global export development, includingpresentations highlighting support for small businesses. Among the speakers will be Kyle Clark, the founder and CEO of BETA Technologies, an electric aviation company based in Burlington, Vermont. EXIM's Board of Directors approved a loan to thesmall business under the Make More in America Initiative for construction of a production facility, which will support 400 jobs.

EXIM also will recognize some of America's leading exporters through national awards and recognition, including small businesses.

Throughout the conference, EXIM will be facilitating one-on-one government-to-business consultations with EXIM staff and private-sector representatives.
