Russian-Serbian flight-tactical exercise BARS-2021 started in Serbia

In Serbia started the joint Russian-Serbian flight-tactical exercise BARS-2021.

During the exercises, the flight crew of the two countries will work out combat maneuvering and air combat as part of the pair, the implementation of low-speed target attacks on MiG-29 fighters, landing and evacuation of those in distress, complex aerobatics, combat use and other tasks for purpose on Mi-8 and Mi-35 helicopters.

Joint crews of the two countries on MiG-29 aircraft and Mi-8 and Mi-35 helicopters take part in the exercises. They will involve about 10 units of aviation equipment of the Air Force and Air Defence Forces of Serbia from the airfields of Batajnica and Lajevci.

For the most effective interaction as part of the crews, Russian pilots previously studied aviation terminology and phraseology of radio communication in Serbian.

The flight tactical exercise BARS-2021 will be held in accordance with the plan of international military cooperation and will last until October 16.
