PDF files on the Greenbook projections from the Board of Governors for all years can be found in a zip file, which you can download by clicking on the link below. Alternatively, you can download the file for a particular year by clicking on the appropriate link below.

This data set contains Greenbook projections of all variables from January 1966 to December 2016. For some variables, the projections are for levels; for other variables, the projections are for growth rates. This data set will be updated annually, usually in April.

The files include historical data as well as projections. The forecast horizon varies over time.

• Complete Data Set from the Board of Governors(347 KB)

These files were created by the staff of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and were originally labeled as Restricted FR. After five years, the Board of Governors makes the PDFs public. The Philadelphia Fed modified the files as follows: We started with the original files and deleted all pages except those containing the forecast tables. This modification reduces the size of the files and allows easier access to the projections. The data are posted on the Philadelphia Fed's website with the permission of the Board of Governors.

Important Note. Please note that the files in the "PDF Data Set from the Board of Governors" were created in July 2011. The old version of the files (which, in a limited number of cases, could have included Greenbook forecasts with slightly different publication dates) is no longer available.
