U-RISE will host an event spotlighting research from U-RISE at Marquette scholars and celebrating senior scholars on Friday, May 3, at 3 p.m. in AMU 163.
U-RISE is a National Institutes of Health-funded undergraduate research training initiative with the goal of increasing students from underrepresented groups in biomedical research.
First-year U-RISE scholars will present oral research presentations from 3:10 p.m. to 4 p.m. The initiative will send off senior scholars as they move on to the next stage in their research careers from 4 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Second-year U-RISE scholars will present scientific posters during a reception from 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. Food will be served.
