A legendary era in the history of IMSA will be celebrated this weekend at the 23rd annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in Florida. The 200 mph, 1000-horsepower GTP prototypes from the 1981 through the 1993 IMSA Championship seasons will be the stars of the annual gathering of iconic cars and industry leaders.
In addition to seeing some of the most iconic race machines from the GTP era up close, sports car racing fans also can enjoy a Sunday seminar Drivers of the IMSA Prototypes on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.. The panel discussion will be hosted by Bob Varsha and feature legendary IMSA drivers: Hurley Haywood, Davy Jones, Tommy Kendall, Brian Redman and Chip Robinson, as well as longtime IMSA official Mark Raffauf.
Tickets for the seminar can be purchased online at www.ameliaconcours.org or at the door on the day of the event for $35.
