This year marks the 35th of anniversary of The Art League of Germantown (ALOG). The League was founded in 1983 to further the careers of fine artists and crafters and to bring an appreciation of the arts and provide education regarding the visual arts to the community. It provides members with the stimulation to thrive in their personal art goals and encourages enthusiastic support and appreciation for art. Learn more at www.alog.org.
ALOG members present a selection of works created in pastel, watercolor, oil, photography, acrylic, gouache, ink, polymer clay, mixed media, collage, graphite, intaglio and lithograph. This exhibit features something to stimulate every palette.
Judith Ahlstrom is an esteemed art professor, gallery owner and accomplished artist. She selected 46 pieces out of 82 presented for consideration, awarding winners in the categories of oil/acrylic, water media, photography, and other media, as well as 'Best in Show.'
