RAdm J Singh, NM Assumes Charge as Chief of Staff -Southern Naval Command

Rear Admiral J Singh, assumed charge as Chief of Staff SNC, on 30 June 2022. The Flag Officer is ASW specialist and commanded Missile Corvette INS Kulish and Destroyer INS Ranvir. The other important assignments tenanted by him include Fleet ASW Officer of the Eastern Fleet, Officer-in-Charge of ASW School and Principal Director (Staff Requirements) at IHQ MoD (Navy). On promotion to the Flag rank in Apr 2020, he was appointed as the Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (Foreign Cooperation and Intelligence) at IHQ MoD (Navy). The Flag Officer is a recipient of the Nau Sena Medal. The Flag Officer took over the mantle from Rear Admiral Antony George,who is superannuating from the Naval service on 30 June 2022 after completion of 35 years of glorious service.
