Minister of Culture Tiit Terik assumes office

On the proposal of Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, Minister Terik was appointed to the position last Wednesday by President Alar Karis, who also released former Minister of Culture Anneli Ott from office.

Prior to becoming the Minister of Culture, Mr Terik served as the chairman of Tallinn City Council from 2019-2021. He has previously been a member of the Riigikogu and served as the district elder of both Pirita and Nõmme in Tallinn.
