Skills Share at Sisters of St. Joseph in Winslow

The Sisters of St. Joseph encourage all to join them in their free Skills Share series at the center on 80 Garland Road in Winslow. On the fourth Saturday of the month (through October), events will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the center where people can learn hands-on skills for caring for their yards or gardens using the "permaculture" philosophy. These are in-person events, and those who wish to sit in the shade, learn, and enjoy the company are welcome as well. No experience is required. Upcoming themes are "Create a Base Map: The Foundation for a Holistic Garden or Landscape Design" on May 28, "How to Enhance or Hide Elements of Your Land or Yard" on June 25, with the topics for July through October to be announced.
