Audax Renovables and eMovili Promote Electric Vehicle Charging Point Installations

The agreement between the two companies promotes electric mobility through installation, maintenance, and support services for electric vehicle charging points.
Spain ranks fourth in the world's Top 10 in electric car regulation thanks to the Moves III Plan aid.

Audax Renovables, a vertically integrated Spanish energy group that generates and supplies 100% renewable electricity and gas, and eMovili, a leading Spanish company in electric mobility and photovoltaic solar energy, have joined forces to offer Audax Renovables' customers an energy improvement solution based on solar panels and charging points from the Spanish company Wallbox, a leading provider of charging and energy management solutions.

Resulting from this agreement, eMovili will provide installation, maintenance and support services for electric and hybrid vehicle charging points to all Audax Renovables customers: individuals, companies, and public administrations. This strategic alliance, initially for one year, with a national scope, will allow Audax Renovables to combine with eMovili's experience and expertise in the sector, as well as their high degree of technical specialization and knowledgeable staff, to provide the installation of recharging points.
The objective of this agreement is to provide efficient and quality solutions for chargers, promoting the use of electric vehicles. Thanks to the improvement of the charging infrastructure this project will help reduce polluting gases in favour of diminishing the greenhouse effect.

Electric Mobility is Booming in Spain
According to the latest electric vehicle registration study by eMovili and AEDIVE (Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility), a total of 38,467 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles were registered in Spain in the first six months of 2022. A trend that continues to rise according to AEDIVE data. In August, registrations of these types of vehicles increased by almost 15%. So far this year, they have accumulated a total of 62,601 units, a 31% increase.

David Busquets, Commercial Director of Audax Renovables, points out that "in the coming years we will see an expansion of electric vehicles and Audax Renovables is already prepared to offer agile solutions, adapted to the needs of each client, and add value with quality customer service".
One of the reasons that could lead the population to opt for electrified vehicles is the increase in the price of fuel. According to the latest data from eMovili, to travel 100 kilometres with a gasoline car currently costs about 13 euros, while only 1.95 euros with an electric vehicle.
Francisco Casas, CEO of eMovili, explains that "we are at the bottom of Europe in terms of vehicle charging points per million inhabitants, which is a major barrier to entry for those seeking a transition to a more sustainable mobility. Our goal is to make sustainable mobility much more accessible to all. We are talking about a new mobility model. We are also committed to innovation, and we guarantee maximum savings for the customer".

However, our country ranks ninth in the world ranking of the 10 countries most prepared for electric vehicles, according to a recent study by the EY consulting firm, which considers the supply capacity, demand, and regulation of electric mobility. In addition, if we look specifically at the regulator sector, Spain ranks fourth, thanks to the Moves III Plan and incentives for users.
