On March 22, 2024, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Amir Henley, age 24, of 193 West Avenue, Apartment #3, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Extortion; and 2) Unlawful Access to a Computer. Mr. Henley was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Sixth District Court. The Honorable Justice Woodcock-Pfeiffer set bail at $2,500 with surety, to include special bail conditions of no contact with the victim, business or its social media accounts.

On March 27, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged James Douglas, age 55, last known address of 1155 Douglas Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Conveyance of Unauthorized Articles to / from Institution; and 2) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance under ten grams (Crack Cocaine). Mr. Douglas was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of Sheriffs.

On March 27, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Erick Hernandez, age 29, last known address of 57½ Lincoln Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, with the following: Conveyance of Unauthorized Articles to / from Institution. Mr. Hernandez was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of Sheriffs.

On March 28, 2024, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Hakeem Saygbe, age 30, of 132 Fordson Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Fugitive from Justice Warrant out the South Rockingham County New Hampshire Police Department on an original charge of Theft; 2) Superior Court Bench Warrant for failing to appear for a technical violation hearing on an original charge of Breaking and Entering out of the Providence Police Department; 3) Superior Court Bench Warrant for failing to appear for a technical violation hearing on an original charge of Shoplifting out of the Providence Police Department; and 4) Superior Court Bench Warrant for failing to appear for Restitution Review on an original charge of Shoplifting out of the Providence Police Department. Mr. Saygbe was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Cranston Police Department.

On March 28, 2024, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Phillip Rodrigues, age 61, of 48 Charles Street, Bristol, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz - 1 kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine; and 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine. Mr. Rodrigues was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing and arraigned in Sixth Division District Court.

On March 28, 2024, members of the Detective Bureau arrested Enrique Miranda, age 34, of 170 Waterman Avenue, Apartment #37, North Providence, Rhode Island, for the following charges: 1) Assault with Intent to Commit Specified Felonies - Murder, 2) Discharge of a Firearm when Committing a Crime of Violence; 3) Drive-by Shootings; 4) Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of a Crime of Violence; 5) Conspiracy; and 6) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Substance - 3rd Offense (Crack Cocaine). Mr. Miranda was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, held without bail, and remanded to the ACI. Mr. Miranda will be re-arraigned in Sixth Division District Court on March 29, 2024.

On March 28, 2024, members of the Detective Bureau arrested Jarvon Brown, age 33, of 61 Ledge Street Apartment #2F, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following charges: 1) Assault with Intent to Commit Specified Felonies - Murder; 2) Discharge of a Firearm when Committing a Crime of Violence; 3) Drive-by Shootings; 4) License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol; 5) Conspiracy; and 6) Possession of a Schedule I Substance (MDMA / Ecstasy). Mr. Brown was processed at State Police Headquarters and arraigned in Sixth Division District Court before the Honorable Associate Judge Isherwood. Mr. Brown was issued $22,000 surety bail and held as a Superior Court probation violator.

On March 28, 2024, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Paola Ibern, age 44, of 66 Dallas Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Embezzlement; and 2) Access to a Computer for Fraudulent Purpose. Ms. Ibern was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released on $10,000 personal recognizance.

On March 28, 2024, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Alourde Morency, age 51, of 242 Smithfield Avenue, Apt. 214, North Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Obtaining Money Under False Pretense; 2) Fraudulently Obtaining Assistance; and 3) Giving a False Document to a Public Official. Ms. Morency was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released on $10,000 personal recognizance.

On March 28, 2024, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Alvin Howard, age 36, of 407 Orms Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Obtaining Money Under False Pretense; 2) Fraudulently Obtaining Assistance; and 3) Giving a False Document to a Public Official. Mr. Howard was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released on $10,000 personal recognizance.
