São Paulo: The shopping experience at Dafiti, the largest fashion and lifestyle e-commerce in Latin America, is being improved in the coming months. The company, together with Banco PAN and Visa, have co-created a new payment solution that brings benefits, convenience and security to customers: a new credit card, which will be available to the general public in early 2021.
Now in the pre-launch phase for pre-selected customers, the new payment solution will not have an annual fee and will have several advantages such as exclusive access to promotions at Dafiti as well as 'Dafiti Prime' (benefits programme with special services such as free shipping and delivery). In the future, customers will be able to grant cashback on purchases, not only from Dafiti, but also at any other commercial establishments.
Sergio Silvestre, CFO, Dafiti said: 'This project will further improve the shopping experience that we are proud to offer to our customers. Together with our partners, PAN and Visa, we selected the best benefits to have the best fashion credit card in Brazil. In this pre-launch, we will adjust whatever is necessary, to build the ideal solution and launch a complete card for all our customers.'
With the card, customers will also have access to the 'PAN Mais' benefits platform. The membership is automatic and all the points accumulated can be exchanged for hundreds of rewards, products and experiences.
Diogo Ciuffo, Director of PAN Digital Bank and Means of Payment explains: 'Our focus with this partnership is to expand credit origination, benefiting from the knowledge that Dafiti has from their thousands of customers, who are part of the public to which the Bank dedicates all its efforts. We want to diversify the distribution channels and offer a better experience for our customers.'
The card also features Visa payment technology and Visa benefits such as access to the 'Vai de Visa' offers and promotions platform.

We took advantage of our global experience in Co-branding and we were inspired by winner programmes from across the fashion segment and by renowned brands in the United States to serve as a reference in the construction of the Dafiti card. A new era of payment solutions is coming to the Brazilian fashion segment.'
In 2020, Dafiti, in partnership with Visa, adopted the 3DS 2.0 protocol, to offer even more security and a better user experience in purchases inside the website and the app.
The card will soon be available to all customers, who will be able to request it through the Dafiti website or app.
