MSC has been declared the 'Best Shipping Line, Asia - Europe' at the 2021 Asian Freight, Logistics & Supply Chain Awards (AFLAS) ceremony, held last week in Hong Kong.

This is the first year MSC has won this award, after having won 'Best Shipping Line, Asia - Africa' for the past two years.

The Asia - Europe is a major trade and one of the most important trades globally, where MSC offers a comprehensive network of services, and it is also the trade where the company's largest and most energy efficient vessels are deployed. MSC also has a strong European short-sea network to complement its deep-sea services on this trade, offering extensive coverage of ports and inland connections in Europe.

MSC has also been working hard to come up with solutions for customers moving cargo on this trade, in order to minimise the disruption caused by ongoing industry supply chain issues. In March this year, MSC moved swiftly to best manage its fleet and services to cope with the Suez Canal blockage and to keep trade flowing.

AFLAS is organised annually by Asia Cargo News. Award nominations and final results are based on votes by shippers, customers, industry stakeholders, as well as readers and e-news subscribers of Asia Cargo News. The awards recognise winning organisations for demonstrating leadership and consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability.
