Davies, Zoch and Kevil lead CTX at OLLU Invitational

, Texas - Dylan Zoch, Cameron Davies and Meghan Kevil were the top performers for the Concordia Texas men's and women's cross country teams Saturday in the Our Lady of the Lake Invitational at Mission Del Lago Golf Course. Zoch and Davies led the Tornados men's team in the 8000-meters as they finished the race in 33rd and 34th place, respectively. Kevil, meanwhile, had the fastest time on the women's side. In the men's race, Zoch, a senior from Giddings, Texas, and Davies, a freshman out of Lake Jackson, Texas, crossed the finish line simultaneously, both running times of 30:02.9.
Gilbert Beltran was the third finisher for CTX, crossing with a time of 31:28.2 while Jayce Halloran finished in 32:37.8. Also competing on the men's side was Christian Colston (33:09.2), Sam Stewart (33:31.6) and Dylan Day (37:30.1). For the women's team, Kevil would lead the way for the Tornados in the 5000-meter run.

The freshman out of Crawford, Texas ran 22:39.6 to place 25th. Alexis Amaro would follow up Kevil, taking 34th overall with a time of 24:49.7.

Ava Gomez, Jailin Munoz, Janika Pegram and Stefanie Saenz would round out the rest of the team, finishing 49th-52nd in the race, respectively.

Next, Concordia Texas will head down to Seguin. Texas for the TLU Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 8:30 a.m.
