SIOUX CENTER, Iowa-- The University of Jamestown men's cross country team placed 11th at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championship Saturday morning, held on the campus of Dordt University.
Noah Mang (SO/West Chester, Ohio) was the first Jimmie to finish, placing 68th in a time of 29:45.08.
Brandon Aragon (SR/Pueblo, Colo.) was the second UJ runner to cross the line, running 30:27.88 to finish 73rd. Andrew Hornung (SR/Jamestown, N.D.) was 78th with a season-best time of 31:02.47. Braedon Gumke (SO/Watford City, N.D.) ran 32:50.69 to place 84th. Darien Hauf (FR/Makoti, N.D.) was 87th with a season-best time of 33:57.57. Jacob Juelfs (JR/Medina, N.D.) also ran a season-best time, finishing in a time of 34:17.02 to place 89th.
Dordt (Iowa) won the team title while Alec Wick of Doane (Neb.) was the individual winner with a time of 25:05.58.
