Public Invited to Jazz Performance at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum

March 8, 2018

BISMARCK, N.D. - The public is invited to the free Sensational Sunday program, 'An Afternoon of Jazz with Scott Prebys and Special Friends,' at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck. This free program will feature diverse music, outstanding local performers, and a mix of unusual instrumental and vocal combinations.
'Each performer has been hand-selected and contributes their special talent to the program,' said lifelong musician Scott Prebys, who will perform on a variety of instruments. All of these musicians have strong performance backgrounds, and they look forward to presenting a 'little bit of everything.' Prebys can be heard on Saturday evenings on his weekly Prairie Public radio program, 'Prebys on Jazz.'

This program is part of the State Historical Society of North Dakota's Sensational Sundays program. Sensational Sundays are free programs sponsored by the State Historical Society that include a variety of lectures, concerts, movies, and tours that provide engaging, educational, historic, and cultural information.
