GREELEY, COLO. - Friday, Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.)announced the winner of the annual Congressional Art Competition from Colorado's Fourth District. Anella Navarro, a freshman at Swink High School, was announced the winner at a recognition ceremony held in La Junta, CO. Anella's artwork entitled 'Colorado Mountains' will be displayed in the halls of the U.S. Capitol for one year.
Rep. Buck made the following statement:
'I am pleased to recognize Anella Navarro for her hard work and dedication and to congratulate her on winning this year's Fourth Congressional District Art Competition. Anella's piece is a tremendous portrayal of the beauty displayed throughout Colorado's eastern plains. I am proud to represent such talented young people from across Colorado's Fourth District.' Rep.
