Funeral for Retired MNPD Chief Joe D. Casey Set for Saturday, August 13

The funeral service for retired MNPD Chief Joe D. Casey will be held on Saturday, August 13, at 12 noon, with visitation from 10 a.m.-noon, at Parkway Baptist Church, 505 Cunniff Parkway, Goodlettsville. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will also occur at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2207 Gallatin Pike, on Thursday, August 11, from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. and 4 p.m.-8 p.m., and on Friday, August 12, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m.

Chief Casey served in the MNPD for nearly 38 years, and as Chief of Police from 1973-1989. He died July 31 on his 96th birthday.
