PR No. 89 Aviation Minister's Visit to AIIAP Lahore: May 09, 2024

Aviation Minister Khwaja M Asif paid a visit of Lahore Airport Terminal building. During the visit, the Minister specially inspected the fire-effected area. He was apprised that the domestic operations were restored along with other systems, however, work on restoration of IBMS immigration system is being carried out and a team along with equipment has reached from Islamabad and the system will be operational soon. The minister instructed to reinstate the IBMS system on the priorty basis for resumption of international flight operation. He interacted will the personnel of all agencies and appreciated the efforts of the airport management and all agencies working in the wake of this unfortunate incident of fire outbreak.
