Closures for overnight pavement repair at Third St. and Oldham Pkwy. in Lee's Summit, May 10-11

Work scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10 until 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 11.

JACKSON COUNTY - Crews will perform pavement repair at the intersection of Third Street and Oldham Parkway near MO Route 50 in Lee's Summit, May 10-11. This work will require the closure of the intersection of Third St. and Oldham Pkwy. (evening and overnight), 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10 until 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 11. Traffic will not be able to go through the intersection of Third St. and Oldham Pkwy. All work is weather dependent.

7 p.m. on Friday, May 10 until 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 11

  • CLOSURE of the intersection of Third St. and Oldham Pkwy. Traffic will not be able to go through the intersection.
  • Pavement repair will also take place on Oldham Pkwy. beginning at SW Ward Rd. and Oldham Pkwy. to the intersection of Third St. and Oldham Pkwy. This will not be a complete closure and one lane will remain open at all times. Traffic will be able to access MO 50.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
