Couche-Tard continues EV journey in North America with the inauguration of its first branded chargers in Canada

Yesterday, Couche-Tard proudly inaugurated its first branded EV chargers in Canada in Ange-Gardien, QC. Following the recent announcement on the deployment of 200 charging sites in the next few years, we continue to build on our experience and excellence in Europe to now bring easy and adapted solutions to our North American customers.

Several teams and partners including the Eastern Canada business unit, e-mobility, global fuel and stores teams gathered to mark this symbolic milestone, as store manager Fanny cut the ribbon inaugurating the charging site, which also launched with free charging for a limited time as an introductory offer for our customers.

Pierre Peters, VP of Operations for Eastern Canada highlighted the contribution of all teams and the monumental work that happened behind the scenes ahead of this launch: ''I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who worked on this project, from operations, e-mobility, global fuel and other global teams who made this possible. We are very proud of this first charging site with our branded EV Couche-Tard chargers and this marks another important step in our journey with EVs in Quebec and Canada.''

It was a great day that marked the first Couche-Tard charging site in Canada. It's a first, but it's also a continuation of what we are doing globally as a company which is to deliver products and services for people on the go, and as our customers change, we change with them. We have a long history of doing that and evolving our offer to what the customer needs. It's been a great journey with our partners to make this possible, so we are very happy to have this finally in operation.
