CXC Foundation is requesting a conditional use permit to construct a training facility for their outdoor recreation and sports center. Sec. 10.72(4) of the City of Middleton Zoning Ordinance lists "other recreation facilities" as a conditional use of an Agricultural District. Planning staff have determined that the sports center training facility is consistent with the "other recreational facilities" conditional use of the agricultural district.

Description of property for the conditional use permit:

Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 09, Township 07 North, Range 08 East, Town of Middleton, Dane County, Wisconsin, more fully described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 09; thence South 89 degrees 19 minutes 20 seconds West along the south line of said Section 09, 1325.46 feet to the point of beginning and the Southwest corner of Certified Survey Map Number 10339, as recorded in Volume 61 of Certified Survey Maps, on pages 21-22, as Document Number 3459160, Dane County Registry, thence continuing South 89 degrees 19 minutes 20 seconds West along said south line, 796.83 feet; thence North 00 degrees 39 minutes 48 seconds West, 416.35 feet; thence North 89 degrees 20 minutes 10 seconds East, 805.93 feet to the west line of said Certified Survey Map Number 10339; thence South 00 degrees 35 minutes 19 seconds West along said west line, 416.25 feet to the point of beginning.

Said parcel contains 7.6578 Acres more or less.

Land located in the NW ¼ of the SE ¼ and the SW ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 9, Township 7 North, Range 8 East, Town of Middleton, Dane County, Wisconsin, more fully described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 9; Thence S 89° 19' 25" W, 1,325.67 feet (recorded as S 88° 07' 50" W, 1,325.46 feet) along the south line of Lot 2 of CSM 10339 to a found iron pipe at the southwest corner of the SE1/4 of the SE ¼ of said Section 9; Thence N 00° 35' 37" E, 416.25 feet (recorded as N 00° 36' 11" W and N 00° 35' 19" E) along the west line of the SE 1/4 - SE ¼ of said Section 9 to a ¾" re-rod (per Burse plat of survey) and the point of beginning; Thence S 89° 20' 30" W (recorded as S 89° 20' 10" W), 99.78 feet; Thence N 0° 35' 15" E, 146.51 feet; Thence N 89° 59' 58" W , 22.54 feet; Thence N 0° 00' 02" E, 678.70 feet; Thence N 89° 59' 58" W 47.56 feet; Thence N 0° 00' 02" E 413.77 feet; Thence S 89° 59' 58" E, 181.21 feet; Thence S 0° 35' 39" W, 1237.69 feet along the east line of the NW ¼ of the SE ¼ and the SW ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 9 to the point of beginning.
