A correction to the initial release on Monday incorrectly stated which vehicle caused the crash. The vehicles, while traveling in the middle lane, made contact, which caused the Volkswagen to veer of the left side of the roadway and into the median. The investigation is on going by Troop H of the Massachusetts State Police Foxboro Barracks, Massachusetts State Police Troop H Detectives, Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
