Appeal following collision in Finchley

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Finchley.

Police were called at approximately 16:35hrs on Sunday, 20 May to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian in Regents Park Road, N3.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. The pedestrian, a 20-year-old man, was found suffering from head injuries.

He was taken to a north London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene. He has not been arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to witnesses who may have been nearby or at the Catcher In The Rye pub to contact police.
