Entain Crowned Socially Responsible Operator of the Year SBC Awards
Entain, the global sports betting, gaming, and interactive entertainment group, is proud to have been named as the global 2022 Socially Responsible Operator of the Year by leading industry experts at SBC.
In crowning Entain Socially Responsible Operator of the Year, the independent panel of judges commended the Group for 'leading the industry in both its safer betting and gaming programmes as well as its broader commitments to ESG and sustainability'.
Appropriately, the award came on the same day that Entain and US industry partners launched 12 Principles of Responsibility for the American market, establishing a new industry benchmark for responsible operation.
The award is further recognition of Entain's successful implementation of its safer gaming strategy and Sustainability Charter. In the past year the Group achieved GamCare's Advanced Safer Gambling Standard as well as being named SBC North America's Socially Responsible Operator of the Year, EGR North America's Safer Gambling Provider and EGR's overall Operator of the Year. Additionally, Entain is a member of both the FTSE4Good and Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
