- The Kutztown University women's rugby team won one-of-four of its matches, taking down Columbia to highlight competition at the Rickerson Cup in Princeton, N.J. In a consolation match to conclude the day, the Golden Bears defeated the Tigers 31-5. Tries were scored by (2), , and . posted three conversions. To begin the day KU was bested by West Chester 41-0 and then were upended in dead time 14-10 to the University of Delaware. and Garrett recorded tries. In the third match of pool play, KU lost to Columbia as Hughes tallied the try and Wasdyke had the conversion. Kutztown has about a month off to prepare for the Championships in Chester, beginning on Friday, May 31.
