ADVISORY – CARBON COUNTY – WEDNESDAY – DEP to Discuss Growing Greener Grant for Jim Thorpe Creek Restoration Project

On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the Borough of Jim Thorpe will host a news conference to announce a Growing Greener grant awarded to the borough for the Silk Mill Run creek restoration project. DEP Northeast Watershed Manager and Grants Coordinator Shane Kleiner will be on hand with representatives from the borough and Wildlands Conservancy to discuss the project.
