University Avenue lane closure planned for water valve work

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has planned a lane closure on a section of University Avenue on Wednesday, May 18, at 8 a.m. for water valve maintenance work.

The inside southbound lane of University Avenue will be closed from Main Street to Franklin Street to allow for the work. University Avenue will be passable; however, motorists are advised to choose an alternate travel route or plan for traffic congestion at the work site.

The water valve maintenance is anticipated to be finished and the lane reopened by approximately 2 p.m.
