First Saturday Movie Marathon – Mel Brooks

Las Cruces Public Libraries invites residents to join us Saturday, April 6, 2024, for a movie marathon in celebration of National Humor Month.

April's First Saturday Movie Marathon, featuring Mel Brooks, begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Roadrunner Room on the second floor at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.

The marathon's first movie, with satire set in the old west, is rated R. The second movie, about world history, will begin at 12:10 p.m. and is rated R. The third movie, about an adventure in space starts at 1:45 p.m. and is rated PG. The fourth movie, about a British outlaw and his happy gang, will be at 3:30 p.m. and has a PG-13 rating.

As always, this movie series is free to the public. Residents are welcome to bring light snacks and are encouraged to join us for the day.

Upcoming First Saturday Movie Marathons will include Star Wars movies in May, the Force Be with Your Fandom. A trio of water adventures will be featured for National Ocean Month, in June.

The start of Las Cruces Public Libraries' Summer Reading Program in July will feature "Adventure Begins at Your Library," and a trio of Jules Verne-based adventure movies.
