This is the story of the brand Brejo da Gaia - Queijaria Artesanal Gourmet that tells the adventure of two zootechnical brothers, Susana and Pedro, and their flock of Murcian-Grenadine goats, in the lands of Tramagal, in Abrantes.
They started a feat with a herd of 120 producers, milked, every day and manually by them, to produce the milk.
During these years both created, selected and built what today is a farm with 600 producers, 200 pre-producers and an automatic milking machine with 36 points.
The cheese factory was born within a dairy goat farm in 2002.
The brand Brejo da Gaia - Queijaria Artesanal Gourmet appeared in the parish of Tramagal, in November 2012.
It entered the national market in April 2014, data in that form concluded all tests of improvement of your thatijos of form to guarantee the consumer an Quality of Excellence.
He collected gold, silver and bronze prizes, in Portugal and abroad, and conquered palates around the world.
All cheese production is personalized and individual. The objective is to guarantee the natural and artisanal manufacturing process, both in fresh and cured cheeses, the latter having no wax coating or protective cover.
