CONSULTATIVE MEETING HELD BETWEEN MONGOLIA AND UZBEKISTAN

The 6th Consultative Meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Uzbekistan was held on 7 May 2024 in Ulaanbaatar. The Meeting was co-chaired by Mr. G.Amartuvshin, Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia, and Mr. B.M.Usmanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan.

During the Consultative Meeting, the sides exchanged views on strengthening and deepening the friendly relations between Mongolia and Uzbekistan, identifying prospects of cooperation, expanding collaboration in areas such as infrastructure, transport and logistics, agriculture, light industry, tourism, health and information technology, preparations on the upcoming high-level visit to be implemented in 2024 as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The Uzbek delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister B.M.Usmanov also plans to meet and discuss the bilateral cooperation with senior officials of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Ministry of Culture, Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries.
