The City of Millbrae celebrates the 58^th Independence Day of Malta. By celebrating this day we continue to reaffirm the strong and friendly ties that connect the City of Millbrae with the great people of Malta and we salute the rich heritage of Maltese Americans.

City of Millbrae and Mosta, Malta, are sister cities. Mosta, Malta is an island nation located in the Mediterranean Sea approximately 60 miles south of Sicily. The Sister City program has made it possible for residents of both cities to learn more about each other and share their unique cultures.

Following a long tradition of kindness and collaboration, the City of Millbrae offers its good wishes for a joyous celebration to the people of Malta on September 21^st.
