Due to motorists' right-of-way concerns at the intersection of Eucalyptus and Park avenues in downtown Vista, the City Council approved a new stop sign on Eucalyptus Avenue. The meeting point of Eucalyptus and Park Avenue is a T-shaped intersection, and at present, an existing stop sign controls the northbound Park Avenue traffic only. The new stop sign will regulate the traffic on southbound Eucalyptus Avenue and clarify motorists' right-of-way.
The stops sign will be installed within the next six to eight weeks by the City of Vista's Public Works Department. For more information on the stop sign or traffic-related issues, the public is asked to contact the Traffic Engineering Division at 760.639.6116.
