DEM to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed 2024-25 and 2025-26 Hunting, Trapping, Freshwater Fishing, Falconry, and Wildlife Rehabilitation and Control Reguations

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) is announcing that its Division of Fish and Wildlife(DFW) will hold a public hearingon proposed regulations relating to the 2024-25 and 2025-26 hunting and trapping seasons and bag limits, the 2025-26 freshwater fishing regulations, wildlife rehabilitation rules and regulations, falconry regulations, and nuisance wildlife control regulations.

Interested parties may present comments concerning the draft regulations at the May 15public hearing or submit written comments to David Kalb at [email protected]by close of business (4 PM) on Monday, May 27, 2024.
