State Secretary Ingrid Brocková: “We want to support our entrepreneurs to expand abroad, as well as to share good practices in the field of global trends.”

The organizer, and main partner, of the 15th year of the Slovak Cooperation Exchange is the Slovak Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO) and is the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. The agenda of the event is divided into two parts: In Part I experts and politicians discuss the technological challenges of modern industry. In Part II, entrepreneurs take part in business meetings with potential clients and partners.

"I am looking forward to the participation of 16 economic diplomats of the Embassies of the Slovak Republic around the world and representatives of the business center of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. We thus confirm our long-term partnership with SARIO, as including digitization and green technologies in the economic recovery is a task for us all. This task is crucial for job creation and for the greater competitive capacity of the Slovak economy," said Ingrid Brocková, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic today, October 21, 2021, during the official opening of the Slovak Cooperation Exchange.

The main theme of this year's conference was: Modern industry - The new pace of technological progress will be maintained only by companies with digital support. The success of companies is determined by modern management methods - automation, artificial intelligence of production processes and going green. Industry experts, scientists and government officials attempted to provide answers to these challenges in panel discussions.

"The common task of the public sector is to restore the economy after the pandemic. At our ministry, we have gradually established new formats of communication with the business community, such as the cycles of Innovation Days and from the Regions to the World forum, the aim of which is to internationalize Slovak companies. At the end of September this year, we organized the Export Forum for the first time as a profile event of economic diplomacy," confirmed the State Secretary.
