TeamCITGO Acknowledged During National Volunteer Week

Sulphur, La. - April 18, 2024 - In a recent tribute to the spirit of giving, the CITGO Lake Charles Refinery recognized its remarkable TeamCITGO volunteers during the W.A.V.E. (We Are Volunteer Employees) celebration. Among these dedicated individuals, Norma Vidrine, CITGO Senior Technical Analyst, was named Volunteer of the Year based on her service hours and commitment throughout 2023.

With a rich history spanning 37 years, TeamCITGO is synonymous with community support in Southwest Louisiana. Its unwavering commitment to service has left an enduring mark on the lives of countless residents. From supporting local initiatives to championing vital causes, TeamCITGO places community well-being at the forefront.

CITGO Vice President and General Manager Sterling Neblett expressed his gratitude: "Our TeamCITGO volunteers exemplify the very best of humanity. Their selflessness, compassion and tireless efforts uplift our community.
