Road Closure Update
On August 10, 2022, the City learned that there was a road closure at the intersection of Old Fredericksburg Road and Dietz Elkhorn that impacted access. For more information continue reading.......
This is NOT a City of Fair Oaks Ranch project, and the Contractor in charge of this project failed to reach out and notify the City of this closure.
Immediately, upon learning about this closure and the impact it has had on our community, the City engaged in communications with the Contractor to gain information and find a resolution to the access issue their project has created.
Originally, the road was estimated to be closed for approximately two weeks, but the City has been able to partner with the Contractor to significantly reduce the amount of time the road will be closed. As of this afternoon, the Contractor has confirmed that the road will be opened back up by 8am on Monday, August 15, 2022.
In the meantime, the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department is actively partnering with the Boerne Independent School District to address school related traffic concerns in that area.
