Number of deaths fluctuates since early March

Vienna,2021-04-01 - According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, 1 707 people died in Austria in calendar week 11 (from 15 to 21 March 2021). Those were 37 fewer deaths than in the previous week, but 129 more than two weeks ago (calendar week 9 from 1 to 7 March, in which 1 578 people died).
