On May 3, 2024, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Giuliano Melendez, age 22, of 58 Hilltop Drive, Johnston, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Indecent Solicitation of a Child; and 2) Electronically Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor. Mr. Melendez was processed at State Police Headquarters then transported to Third District Court for arraignment. The Honorable Justice Lafazia set bail at $5,000 with surety, to include a No Contact Order with the victim, no unsupervised contact with minors, and limited internet use.

On May 3, 2024, members of the Auto Theft and Intelligence Units, the Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Lincoln Barracks arrested Andreade Jackson, age 36, of 22 Rand Street, Central Falls, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Fraudulent Insurance Claim for Stolen Motor Vehicle; 2) Fraudulent Insurance Claim to Insurer; 3) Larceny Over $1,500; and 4) Conspiracy. Mr. Jackson was arraigned and released pending a future court date.

On May 4, 2024, members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested David Henri, age 50, of 140 Green Street, Foxboro, Massachusetts, on an Affidavit/Arrest Warrant for Larceny Under $1,500. Mr. Henri was arraigned by a Bail Commissioner and released on $1,000 Personal Recognizance.

On May 4, 2024, members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit and the Scituate Barracks arrested Richard Henault, age 60, of 265 Susan Bowen Road, Coventry, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit/Arrest Warrant for the following: 1) Larceny Under $1,500; 2) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes, and 3) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses or Impersonation. Mr. Henault was arraigned by a Bail Commissioner and released on $5,000 Personal Recognizance.
