Meeting of the Tajik delegation with the Minister of State for Environment, Climate Change and Technologies of the Maldives

On April 24, 2022, in Kumamoto, on the sidelines of the Fourth Asia-Pacific Water Summit, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Daler Juma and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda met with the Minister of State for Environment, Climate Change and Technologies of the Republic of Maldives Ahmed Mujthaba.

The sides discussed cooperation between Tajikistan and the Maldives in various fields, especially in the field of tourism, as well as within the framework of international organizations, including the implementation of the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development», 2018-2028 in the United Nations, and participation of the delegation of the Maldives in the Second Dushanbe Water Conference (June 6-9, 2022).
