Lane reduction on SB State Route 17 between Idylwild Rd. to Summit Rd. due to vegetation control work starting at 9 AM, Mon. May 13

Santa Clara County - Caltrans has scheduled a lane reduction on southbound State Route 17 between Idylwild Rd. to Summit Rd just south of Los Gatos starting at 9 AM, on Monday, May 13.

Caltrans maintenance will be creating a fire break by removing vegetation such as removing overgrown weeds, tree trimming, and clearing shrubs that are blocking highway signage.

To ensure the safety of our workers and motorists, a lane reduction is planned to take place on the far-right lane on SB State Route 17 between Idylwild Rd. to Summit Rd. starting on Monday, May 13 through Friday, May 17 from 9 AM- 2:30 PM.

Motorists are encouraged to reduce their speed while traveling through the work zone and expect travel delays.
