Precautionary Boil Water Notice: SE 6 Avenue & E Las Olas Boulevard in Beverly Heights

City of Fort Lauderdale crews will be performing planned maintenance to the water distribution system on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 11 p.m. The impacted properties are in the area of SE 6 Avenue & E Las Olas Boulevard. Neighbors in the vicinity may experience service interruptions and low water pressure while the work is taking place.

A precautionary boil water notice is being issued Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 5 a.m. to the impacted properties highlighted in the map below.

The precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until drinking water test results pass for two consecutive days, as per Florida Administrative Code. The City will notify neighbors when the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted.

Neighbors are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may be used as an alternative.
