Iranian Foreign ministry spokesman sends message of sympathy to people of Afghanistan over the deadly quake in the country

Following the tragic and bitter earthquake incident in southeastern Afghanistan that left a large number of honorable Afghan people dead and injured, and also led to material damage in the country, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh expressed the deep regret and sorrow of the government and people in the Islamic Republic of Iran to the friendly and brotherly nation of Afghanistan.

Following the tragic and bitter earthquake incident in southeastern Afghanistan that left a large number of honorable Afghan people dead and injured, and also led to material damage in the country, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh expressed the deep regret and sorrow of the government and people in the Islamic Republic of Iran to the friendly and brotherly nation of Afghanistan.

The foreign ministry spokesman prayed for God's mercy for those who lost their lives in the tragic natural disaster and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families while also praying that the injured recover their health.

Khatibzadeh also expressed the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to provide any kind of needed assistance to the quake-hit people.
