These LEDs are targeted to meet the indication and illumination requirements of specialty backlighting, corporate branding, handheld devices and medical equipment applications.

Kingbright's APTD1608 Series LEDs are the industry's first 0603 dome lens package in Chip LED SMT. The product's remarkable compact design (1.6mm x 0.8mm x 0.95mm) with 0.70mm dome lens feature focused beams within a narrow viewing angle of 60°, illuminating high typical intensity output up to 3000mcd @ 20mA. Available in blue, white, green, red, yellow and orange, the product's wide color offerings extend aesthetic benefits for designers of various sign, appliance, interior and exterior automotive lighting, and backlight and indicator applications. The low-power-consumption, IR reflow, solderable device meets industrial temperature ratings of -40°C to +85°C and is specially designed with an automatic, pick-and-place mounting process to reduce production costs. All packages are RoHS compliant and compatible with automated placement equipment to optimize production time and cost.
