Makedonski Telekom announced its partnership with the Macedonian Handball Federation

  • The handball players will play in the European Championship supported by the new sponsor, Makedonski Telekom
  • Telekom will take 50 lucky winners to cheer for our handball players in Zagreb on the match between Macedonia and Montenegro on 15 January
  • Exclusively during the Championship, the customers get a MKD 3,000 bonus for purchasing a smart-phone in the new Smart M and the new Magenta 1 M

Before the start of the European Championship in Croatia, Makedonski Telekom announced its partnership with the Macedonian Handball Federation. In Zagreb, the handball players will fight for victory supported by the new sponsor Makedonski Telekom.

The partnership was made official at a press conference attended by the Chief Executive Officer of Makedonski Telekom, Mr. Andreas Elsner, the President of the Macedonian Handball Federation, Mr. Zivko Mukaetov and the NT Head-Coach in the Handball Federation, Mr. Raul Gonzalez.

'The partnership agreement between these two successful teams came very naturally - Makedonski Telekom has the best and safest network in the country, while, for many years now, handball has continuously been the most successful sport in Macedonia. Our goal is to provide the best possible conditions for top sports results, and, based on the ambitions and the plans of our national team, I believe that they will be successful at the European Championship and I wish them many future victories' - said Andreas Elsner, the Chief Executive Officer of Makedonski Telekom.

For the fans who would like to cheer for the handball players, Telekom will take 50 lucky winners in Zabreb on the match between Macedonia and Montenegro on 15 January (more information may be found at www.telekombus.com).

In addition, all customers who will choose the new Smart M and the new Magenta 1 M during the Championship, get a bonus of MKD 3,000 for purchasing a new smart-phone.

At the European Championship in Croatia, Macedonia will play in the group with Germany, Slovenia and Montenegro. The plan is to proceed to the main phase and to continue among the 12 best national teams.
